Description of the position and key functions: An opportunity is available for a Chief Engineer on a VSP type tug operating in Angola. The main responsibilities include supervising and maintaining propulsion systems and machinery on board, with a special focus on vessels with ASD propulsion.
Requirements and qualifications: The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of experience as Chief Engineer on AHTS, AHT, PSV, or similar vessels. Proficiency in English is required. Previous experience with ASD propulsion systems is desirable.
Additional details: The offered salary is $9,000 USD. The work rotation is 2 months on board followed by 2 months off. This position is open to candidates from Croatia, Greece, Latvia, Russia, and Ukraine.
