Description of the position and key functions: A Fitter is required to work aboard a Bulker-type vessel. The main responsibilities of this role include the maintenance and repair of the vessel’s machinery, ensuring the proper functioning of the mechanical systems. The work involves closely collaborating with the engineering team to ensure compliance with the safety and operational standards of the vessel.
Requirements and qualifications: Previous experience in similar positions aboard Bulk carriers. Solid knowledge in mechanics and maintenance of naval machinery. Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team. Ukrainian crew only.
Additional details: Start date: May 15, 2025. Contract duration: 4 +/- 2 months. Vessel’s DWT: 81,000. Vessel’s year of construction: 2021. This job does not involve costs for the employee.
