Description of the position and key responsibilities: We are looking for a Motorman with experience on small vessels, such as tugs and offshore support vessels (OSVs). The main responsibilities include the maintenance and efficient operation of engines and other mechanical equipment on board. A strong understanding of propulsion systems is required, as well as the ability to carry out minor repairs when necessary.
Requirements and qualifications: Previous experience on small vessels, specifically tugs and OSVs. Technical knowledge of marine engine systems. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Availability for contracts lasting 3 to 6 weeks.
