Description of the position and key functions: A Second Mate is sought for a tug operating for the Dutch Coast Guard. The role involves direct participation in towing operations, with a 4-week operational cycle at sea before returning to port for crew change, provisioning, and maintenance.
Requirements and qualifications: Valid Chief Mate VBB 3000 GT license. Experience in towing operations. Good level of English; knowledge of Dutch will be positively valued.
Additional details: Start date: October 29, 2025. Contract: Fixed rotation of 4 weeks on board followed by 4 weeks off. Base port location for crew change: Scheveningen/Rotterdam.
