Description of the position and key functions: Two positions are available on board a 50,000 tonne VLGC (Liquefied Petroleum Gas Carrier) built in 2007. The vacancies are for the Engineering Watch Officer (EWO) and Electrical Technical Officer (ETO) positions. The EWO role involves overseeing and maintaining engines and machinery on board. The ETO, on the other hand, will carry out tasks related to the electrical and electronic systems of the vessel.
Requirements and qualifications: For the EWO position: experience in maintaining engines and machinery on similar vessels. For the ETO position: experience in handling maritime electrical and electronic systems. Accredited training in relevant nautical and merchant marine for each position.
