Job Description and Key Functions
For the Cypriot-owned bunkering tankers, the following profiles are sought:
- Cook: Responsible for food preparation and culinary provisioning management on board.
- Chief Engineer (CH ENG): In charge of general maintenance of the ship’s engineering and supervision of the technical team.
- Second Engineer (2nd ENG): Support to the Chief Engineer in managing mechanical and electrical systems.
- Third Engineer (3rd ENG): Responsible for specific maintenance tasks and support in the engine room.
For the Estonian-managed coaster, the following position is available:
- Single Engineer (Single ENG): Responsible for the overall operation of the propulsion system and generators, with only one greaser in the engine room.
Requirements and Qualifications
Candidates must have previous experience in similar roles within vessels of the specified type. Accredited technical training in nautical engineering or maritime gastronomy will be valued. Additional languages and certifications may be required according to international regulations.
Additional Details
A contract of 4+-1 months duration is offered, with competitive salaries as follows:
- Cook: 2000 USD, immediate incorporation.
- Chief Engineer: 7150 USD, starting mid-July.
- Second Engineer: 5500 USD, starting in July.
- Third Engineer: 3200-3400 USD, immediate incorporation.
- Single Engineer: 6500 euros, with a duration of 4 months.
