Job Opportunity: Captain for DP2 Cable Lay Vessel in Qatar
Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Captain to join a large DP2 cable lay vessel operating in the oil fields of Qatar. The start date is scheduled for mid-March, with a rotation system of 8 weeks on board and 8 weeks off. The main role of the Captain will be to oversee the cable laying operations, ensuring compliance with all safety procedures and operational efficiency on board.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in cable laying operations
- HUET Certification
- H2S Certification
- Valid passport
- Seamans Book
- OGUK Medical Certificate
- STCW Certificates required
- COC Certification

The job offer includes an 8-week on board rotation followed by 8 weeks off, allowing for a work-life balance. The candidate must possess all the mandatory certificates and documentation mentioned above.
