Description of the position and key functions: We are looking for a Chief Engineer (C/E) for a container ship built in 2006 with a cargo capacity of 4200 TEU and a deadweight of 50,000 tonnes. The crew is composed of professionals from Ukrainian and Filipino nationalities. The selected candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the main MAN BW engine, ensuring efficiency in the machinery department operations.

Requirements and qualifications: Previous experience in the position of Chief Engineer on similar vessels. Expert knowledge in MAN BW engines. Ability to work in a multicultural environment. Availability to join from mid-February 2025.
