Job Opportunity: Cook for General Cargo Vessel – Olive Crew Management Ltd. – Salary: £2000
Are you an experienced cook looking for a new challenge? Olive Crew Management Ltd. is currently seeking a skilled cook for a general cargo vessel with a deadweight (DWT) of between 2500 and 5000 tonnes. As the cook, your responsibilities will include preparing daily meals for the crew, managing food inventories, and ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards in the ship’s kitchen.
To be considered for this role, applicants should have previous experience as a cook on ships or in similar conditions. The ability to work in a team with crews from the EU, Ukraine, and Georgia is essential, as well as knowledge of food safety regulations and efficient kitchen management.
Additional details:
- Start date: Between 1st and 10th May 2025
- Contract duration: 4 months, with the possibility of extension (+-1 month)
- Salary: £2000
