Description of the position and key functions: We are looking for a qualified Welder/Fitter to work aboard a Bulk Carrier with a deadweight tonnage (DWT) of 56000 metric tons. This role involves carrying out maintenance and repairs, ensuring the proper functioning of the ship’s metal structures.
Requirements and qualifications: Previous experience in welding and fittings on vessels, preferably on Bulk Carriers. Work visa for the United States (required). Ability to work in a mixed crew environment.
Additional details: Contract duration: 5 +/- 1 months. Ship owners: Germany. Estimated start date: 2nd December 2025.
