Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in marine fuel (bunker) trading or sales
- Strong knowledge of conventional and alternative marine fuel products
- Established network of contacts in the marine fuels industry
- Solid knowledge of port operations and physical fuel supply processes
- Experience in managing credit exposure and market risk
- University degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or related field (beneficial)
- Knowledge of ISM regulations and SFC standards (preferable)
- Familiarity with financial services and securities/futures operations (advantage)
- Highly motivated, ambitious and resilient
- Commercial mindset with excellent negotiation and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic commercial environment
- Team player capable of working in global operations
Responsibilities
- Execute high-value commercial operations in VLSFO, ULSFO, HSFO and alternative fuels
- Formulate and implement effective sales strategies to drive profitability
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, charterers, operators, brokers and intermediaries
- Expand client portfolio and open new accounts in the marine fuels market
- Monitor market trends, price movements, competitor activity and commercial opportunities
- Manage exposure to price volatility and credit risk according to internal policies
- Coordinate closely with internal operations, logistics and back-office teams
- Ensure efficient physical delivery of fuels and accurate documentation
- Support payment tracking and credit controls
- Identify new commercial opportunities, including sustainable fuel supply partnerships
- Act as key source of market intelligence for the European commercial team
