Description of the position and key functions: We are looking for an Ordinary Seaman (OS) to join the research vessel AMBER AGATHA, operating in the Baltic Sea. The main duties of the position include deck support tasks, collaboration in mooring and unmooring maneuvers, and assistance in daily research activities on board.

Requirements and qualifications: Candidates must hold a valid medical certificate, have STCW training, and possess the seaman’s book. Previous experience on research vessels or in the maritime sector will be valued.

Additional details: The contract is permanent with a rotation of 4 weeks on board and 4 weeks off. The expected joining date is 15th September 2025. Salary will be determined (TBD) and is only offered to candidates from the European Union.
