ALSS is seeking experienced Maritime Security Officers who comply with industry standards and company requirements for worldwide deployment.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 4 years continuous military service experience
- STCW 95 Certificate
- SSO (Ship Security Officer) certification
- Seafarers Medical Certificate (ENG1)
- Yellow fever vaccination certificate
- MSO Course completion
- Valid passport with a minimum of 6 months remaining validity and blank pages for visa applications
- Mental Health Clearance
- Exemplary Testimonial and proof of Military service (if applicable)
- Criminal Record Check
- Fire Arms Competency Certificate
- Seaman’s Card and Discharge Book disclosure
- Trauma/First Aid qualification (desirable)
- Multilingual skills (desirable)
- 2 recent professional references
Compliance Information
All the above qualifications have been developed to meet the requirements of ISO/PAS 9001:2008, ISO/PAS 28007:2013 & ISO/PAS 28007-1:2015 in order to comply with Maritime Security Standards.
