- For OS: Panama watchkeeping certificate required
- STCW certification as applicable for each rank
- Relevant sea service experience for each position
Duties
- Master: Overall command and safety of vessel, crew, and cargo; compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, and STCW; navigation and cargo operations management.
- Chief Officer: Supervision of deck department, cargo operations, stability, and safety; maintenance of deck equipment and lifesaving appliances.
- 2nd Officer: Navigation watchkeeping, voyage planning, and maintenance of charts and publications.
- Chief Engineer: Overall management of engine department, machinery operation, maintenance, and spares; compliance with MARPOL and safety regulations.
- 2nd Engineer: Supervision of engine room watchkeeping, maintenance of main and auxiliary machinery.
- 3rd Engineer: Watchkeeping duties and maintenance of auxiliary machinery and systems.
- Ordinary Seaman (OS): General deck duties, watchkeeping under supervision, and maintenance tasks.
- Welder: Welding and fabrication work for deck and engine maintenance.
