Mechanical Naval Engineer for Feeder Container Vessel – Gretimybe Crewing – Salary: £2000-£3000
Description of the role and key functions: We are looking for a Mechanical Naval Engineer (Fitter) for a Feeder container vessel of 9932 GRT, under ATG flag and German ownership. The vessel is equipped with a main MAN B&W 6S46ME-B engine of 8280 kW. The responsibilities of the role include the maintenance and repair of essential mechanical equipment on board, ensuring the optimal operation of the main engine and other critical systems.
Requirements and qualifications: Candidates must possess a valid US visa. Previous experience in similar positions on merchant ships. Knowledge and skills in maintenance and operation of MAN B&W engines. Ability to work under demanding maritime conditions.
Additional details: 4-month contract. Start date: 20th September 2025. Competitive salary between £2000 and £3000, depending on experience and qualifications.
