Position Overview
We are seeking a Motorman (Engine Boy) for a Ro-Pax vessel operating in any location. This position offers a monthly salary of 2600 USD with a contract duration of 3-4 months. The vessel is a Ro-Pax (passenger and vehicle transport) operated by Amergo Group.
Requirements
- European Union (EU) citizenship
- Good level of English
- Experience in the position
- Minimum required training: Basic STCW certificates. Specific marine machinery training is recommended.
Responsibilities
- Assistance in machinery maintenance
- Cleaning of engine spaces
- Support to the Chief Engineer and Engine Officers
- General preventive maintenance tasks
Required Documentation
- EU citizenship documentation
- Updated STCW certificates (including basic training, maritime security, etc.)
- Medical certificate of nautical fitness
- Valid passport
