Requirements
- 12 months of experience in the vessel range/type
- Good knowledge of English
- Experience in handling chemical products under Annex II of MARPOL for certain positions
- Experience with MAN ME-C/ME-B engines for engineering positions
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the position include the safe supervision and operation of activities related to the handling of chemical products, as well as the management and maintenance of the vessel’s propulsion systems and machinery. Typically, according to international STCW regulations, the responsibilities of this position on this type of vessel include planning and executing loading and unloading operations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and supervising subordinate personnel.
