Oiler and Oiler/Waste Controller for Offshore Project in UK Waters

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Oilers and Oiler/Waste Controllers for an offshore project in UK waters. The main project phase is scheduled to commence in September 2026. This is a contract position for the duration of the offshore project, working on offshore vessels/systems. The hiring agency is iPS Dubai Powerful People.

Requirements

• Residency in the United Kingdom or a valid UK Work Permit (UKWP)
• Experience as an Oiler and/or Oiler/Waste Controller on offshore projects
• Complete required certifications (see Documentation section)

Responsibilities

• Perform Oiler (greaser) duties on offshore systems
• Control and manage waste according to offshore procedures
• Conduct basic maintenance and support platform/vessel operations

Documentation Required

• BOSIET/FOET + CA-EBS
• STCW BST (Basic Safety Training)
• STCW SC + FRC (Survival Craft and Rescue Boats)
• STCW AFF (Advanced Fire Fighting)
• OGUK/STCW Medical Certificate
• Security Awareness
• Rigging & Lifting Course
• GWO WAH & MH (Working at Height and Manual Handling)
• MEWP/Cherry Picker
• Shoulder Measurement (X-BR)
• Chester Step Test
• Valid vaccinations (including Yellow Fever)
