Description of the position and key functions: The position of Qualified Deckhand involves ensuring the safe operation of the bridge, maintenance of the vessel, and surveillance of maritime traffic during shifts. The main responsibilities include carrying out navigation and parking watches in accordance with STCW regulations, supporting in docking and undocking maneuvers, carrying out ordinary bridge maintenance, and participating in on-board exercises and ISM/ISPS audits. On some vessels, experience with HACCP may be required and duties may include cooking.

Requirements and qualifications:
– STCW License – IMO II/4 (Italian endorsement).
– STCW VI/1 Certificate.
– Work experience as a Qualified Deckhand.
– Preferable HACCP experience.

Additional details:
The position is available permanently for vessels under Italian flag. It is a job on board a supply vessel, with boarding port in Italy. The rotation is irregular.
