We are seeking a qualified Safety Officer for a self-propelled Jack-Up barge operating offshore in Saudi Arabia. This is a 90-day contract position with Ryan Ship Management Pvt Ltd, offering a competitive daily rate and scheduled travel arrangements.

Requirements
- STCW II/2 or III/2 Certificate of Competency
- NEBOSH Certificate
- 24 months of experience as a Safety Officer in offshore operations (barges, platforms, rigs)
- Nationality from one of the listed countries: Azerbaijan, Brazil, Bulgaria, Colombia, Croatia, Egypt, Estonia, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Honduras, India, Jordan, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Myanmar, Nigeria, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Tanzania, Turkey, Ukraine, Indonesia, Ghana, Montenegro, Slovenia, South Africa, Cameroon
Responsibilities
- Supervision of operational safety on offshore Jack-Up barge
- Implementation of safety procedures according to international regulations
- Risk management in specialised maritime operations
- Coordination of safety inspections and audits
- Staff training in safety protocols
Required Documentation
- STCW II/2 or III/2 Certificate of Competency
- NEBOSH Certificate
- Seaman’s Book
- Updated medical certificates
- Valid passport
