Safety Officer – SSCV – UK Waters (within 12NM)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Safety Officer to join our client’s Semi-Submersible Crane Vessel (SSCV), operating within 12 nautical miles of the UK coast. This position requires candidates to be either UK citizens or hold valid UK work authorisation, such as a Frontier Worker Permit.

Contract Details

The rotation pattern will be 5 weeks on / 5 weeks off, continuing through to the end of the current year. There are potential opportunities for extension into 2027 for suitable candidates.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ offshore Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) experience within a heavy lift environment (lifting capacity exceeding 3,000 metric tonnes)
  • Valid BOSIET/FOET with Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System Apparatus (CA-EBSA)
  • Shoulder Measurements certificate
  • OEUK Medical certificate
  • Seafarer Medical certificate
  • STCW Certificate of Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats other than Fast Rescue Craft A-VI/2-1 (PSCRB)
  • STCW Certificate of Proficiency in Designated Security Duties A-VI/6-2 (DSD)
  • Confined Space Entry certification
  • Gas Measurement Course certificate
  • Asbestos Safety (Recognition and Incident Removal Procedures) certification

Work Location

Operations will be conducted within 12 nautical miles of the UK coastline. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
