• Salary: 140 USD/day (approximately 4200 USD/month based on 30 days)
• Location: Worldwide (Cypriot flag vessel)
• Contract: 6 weeks on board / 6 weeks ashore rotation

• Required Training: Merchant Marine Officer Qualification (Degree or Vocational Training) with Navigation specialisation

Requirements

• Valid STCW certification for Second Deck Officer
• Previous experience on tug vessels (preferred)
• Availability to join in May 2026
• Proper documentation to work on Cypriot flag vessels

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Officer in navigation watches
• Responsible for navigation and communication equipment
• Supervision of towing operations according to safety procedures
• Maintenance of nautical documentation and vessel records
• Compliance with SOLAS regulations and maritime protection codes

• STCW certificates (including basic and officer-specific training)

• Medical certificates (including visual acuity examination for watches)
