Requirements

  • Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) for Second Officer
  • Previous experience on bulk carrier vessels
  • Availability for immediate start (Possible in start!)
  • Ability to work in multinational crew (Crew Mix: Mostly Ukrainians)

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chief Officer in navigation watchkeeping and manoeuvres
  • Supervise bulk cargo loading and unloading operations
  • Maintenance of deck equipment and safety systems
  • Compliance with ISPS procedures and nautical documentation management
  • According to STCW, typical functions include: voyage planning, use of electronic navigation equipment, and emergency responsibilities according to the vessel’s contingency plan

Required Documentation

  • Certificate of Competency (CoC)
  • Maritime registration book
  • Updated STCW certificates (including basic and advanced training)
  • Valid passport
  • Medical fitness certificate
