Requirements
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) for Second Engineer
- Previous experience on bulk carrier vessels
- Updated STCW documentation
- Current medical certificate for seafarers
- Proficiency in English for maritime communications
Responsibilities
- Supervise and maintain propulsion systems and auxiliary machinery
- Manage the engine team and assign maintenance tasks
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL)
- Collaborate with the Chief Engineer in planning operations and repairs
- Maintain engineering records and report incidents
