Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Second Engineer for a Diving Support Vessel (DSV) DP2 operating in the ADNOC Zone. This position offers a rotational contract with Ocean Armada.

Offer Details

  • Salary: 270 USD/day
  • Location: ADNOC Zone (United Arab Emirates)
  • Contract: Rotational contract: 2 months on board / 2 months on leave
  • Vessel Type: Diving Support Vessel (DSV) DP2
  • Contracting Company: Ocean Armada
  • Required Qualification: Second Engineer Officer Certificate or recognised equivalent
  • Benefits: 2/2 rotational contract (work-rest balance according to MLC 2006), daily salary in USD

Requirements

  • Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) for Second Engineer
  • Experience on DSV vessels or offshore platforms
  • Updated STCW certifications
  • Valid maritime medical certificate
  • Immediate availability (ASAP)

Responsibilities

  • Supervision of the engine department under the direction of the Chief Engineer
  • Maintenance of propulsion systems, electrical generation, and auxiliary equipment
  • Control of DP2 (Dynamic Positioning) systems according to SOLAS
  • Management of inventories and technical spares
  • Compliance with safety and environmental protocols (ISM/ISPS)
