Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Second Engineer for an Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessel (AHTS) Non-DP operating in the QE LNG zone, Qatar. This is a rotational contract position offering competitive daily rates.

Requirements

  • Certificate of Competency: 2E or higher
  • Experience: As Second Engineer on AHTS vessels
  • English Language: Marlins test 85% or higher
  • Nationality: Any

Functions

According to STCW, the typical functions of the Second Engineer include: supervision of the engine department, maintenance of equipment, management of fuel and lubricants, and support to the Chief Engineer in technical operations.
