Description of the position and key functions: We are looking for a Second Engineer (2/ENG) for a bulk carrier of 14116 GRT built in 2007, under the flag of PRT. The main engine is a B&W 8S35MC with a power of 5830 kW. The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising and maintaining the optimal operation of the propulsion systems and machinery of the vessel, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
Requirements and qualifications: A Schengen visa or Biometric Passport is required. Previous relevant experience in similar positions on bulk carriers is advisable. Specific academic training in maritime engineering will be considered a plus.
