The responsibilities of the position include the maintenance and supervision of the ship’s mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring optimal operation during the voyage. The second engineer will work closely with a mixed team of maritime professionals. Requirements and qualifications: Previous experience in a similar position, preferably on board cargo ships, will be valued. Adequate training in maritime engineering and solid technical skills for handling machinery and equipment on board are required.
