Second Engineer for Ch/Oil Tanker – Saga Agency – Salary: £8200
Saga Agency is offering an opportunity for the position of Second Engineer on board a Ch/Oil Tanker. The main responsibilities of the role include supervising and maintaining the main 4500 kW MAN-B&W engine, as well as other engineering systems on board. Ensuring the proper functioning of the technical equipment and assisting the chief engineer in machinery-related tasks will be required.
Requirements and Qualifications
Candidates must have previous experience in a similar position on tanker vessels, preferably on Ch/Oil Tankers. Accredited training in marine engineering and relevant certifications to work on vessels under the Danish flag are essential. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to solve technical problems under pressure will be positively evaluated.
Additional Details
The contract is for 6 weeks, with embarkation scheduled for December 6, 2025. Navigation will mainly take place in European waters. The vessel was built in 2020 and has a GRT/DWT of 7324/11253.
