Second Engineer position available on a container vessel, offering a salary range of 8548-9648$ (calculated based on individual experience within the range). This is a voyage contract of 4+/-1 months with flexible location (Anywhere). The vessel is managed by Columbia Shipmanagement for A.P. Moller-Maersk.

Requirements
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC)
- Previous experience as Second Engineer or similar on merchant vessels
- Updated STCW documentation
- Current medical fitness certificate for seafarers
Responsibilities
- Supervision of the engine department under the direction of the Chief Engineer
- Maintenance and operation of propulsion, electrical generation and auxiliary systems
- Compliance with safety and environmental procedures according to SOLAS and MARPOL
- Management of engine inventories and spare parts
- Training and supervision of junior engine room personnel
