We are seeking a qualified Second Engineer for a temporary position aboard a DP2 fallpipe vessel operating in European waters. This is a 5-week contract position starting on 3 March 2026, with potential travel to the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) for wind farm activities. Requirements
- STCW III/2 Certificate of Competency for Engineer Officer in Charge of a Watch
- Experience with High Voltage (HV) systems
- GWO Working at Height certificate
- Sea Survival certificate
- Preference given to candidates with a valid US B-1 visa for transit or travel to OCS
Responsibilities
In accordance with STCW regulations, typical Second Engineer duties include:
- Supervision of engine room watchkeeping
- Maintenance of propulsion and auxiliary equipment
- Management of high voltage systems
- Supporting the Chief Engineer during DP2 operations
Required Documentation
- Valid STCW certificates
- GWO and Sea Survival certificates
- Visa documentation (if applicable)
