Description of the position and key functions: We are looking for a Second Engineer (2E) to work on board a DSV DP2 vessel in Qatar. Main duties include the maintenance and operation of dynamic positioning systems, as well as tasks related to handling Niigata engines and supervising technical work on the ship. Previous experience in supply, AHTS, towing, and ASD will be highly valued.

Requirements and qualifications: Minimum of 24 months experience as a Second Engineer. DP Maintenance Certificate. DP Logbook. Competent English language skills, preferably with an 80% score in the MARLINS test. Previous approval by QATAR GAS/QE, preferably.

Additional details: Location: Qatar. Salary: £200 daily. Contract duration: 60-90 days, with the possibility of stable employment in periods of 60 days of work followed by 60 days off, or 90/90. Immediate start.
