Description of the position and key responsibilities: We are looking for a Second Engineer for a Suezmax-type oil tanker. Key responsibilities include the maintenance and operation of the main MAN B&W MC engine, as well as the supervision of other technical systems and machinery of the 158,322-ton deadweight ship, built in South Korea. The crew is mixed, consisting of Europeans and Filipinos, and candidates must be prepared to work in this international environment. The embarkation date is scheduled for July, with a 4-month contract plus/minus 1 month, including access to 2 GB of internet per month on board.

Requirements and qualifications:

  • Minimum experience of 3 contracts (12 months) in the Second Engineer range.
  • Good level of English.
  • Previous experience on ships of the same type (Suezmax oil tanker).
