Description of the position and key functions: We are looking for a Second Engineer for a Suezmax oil tanker dedicated to the transportation of crude oil. The vessel, built in 2012 in South Korea, is equipped with a MAN B&W MC main engine and has a deadweight of 159,031 tonnes. Responsibilities include overseeing and maintaining the ship’s machinery, ensuring the proper operation and efficiency of the technical equipment on board.

Requirements and qualifications: Candidates must have a minimum of 3 contracts (12 months) in the same rank, a good command of English, and previous experience on vessels of the same type. It is necessary to pass a CES test, an interview with the superintendent, and a visit to the company’s offices.

Additional details: The contract is for 4 +/- 1 months, with boarding scheduled for July. The crew is mixed, composed of Europeans and Filipinos, and each crew member is provided with 2 GB of internet access per month. The offered salary is $11,300 USD, plus $1,100 USD for RB.
