Requirements

- Experience in tanker operations and major oil company inspections (preferred)
- Ability to assist and support the Chief Engineer in daily engine room management
- Good command of English
Responsibilities
- Assist the Chief Engineer in supervising and maintaining all vessel propulsion and auxiliary systems
- Manage planned maintenance of critical machinery (engines, boilers, pumping systems)
- Supervise specific tanker operations related to cargo safety and inert systems
- Collaborate in preparation for major oil company inspections (SIRE, CDI, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL and MLC 2006 regulations in the engine department
