Description of the position and key functions: An opportunity is offered for the position of Second Engineer on a container ship with a deadweight of 42,594 tonnes. The main responsibilities include the supervision and operation of the ship’s machinery, ensuring the proper maintenance and operation of essential technical systems. This role is essential to ensure efficiency and safety in the daily operations of the ship.

Requirements and qualifications: Citizenship of Ukraine, Georgia, European Union, or Turkey. Previous experience on container ships or in a similar role as Second Engineer. Advanced technical knowledge in naval mechanics and propulsion systems. Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment.

Additional details: Salary: £7,000 – £7,500. Contract duration: 4 months, starting on 15th October 2025. Bonus opportunities for reintegration and loyalty. Employment service is free, provided by one of the seven largest German owners.
