Second Engineer on Container Ship – Marine Man Ltd. – International – Salary: £6,700 – £7,000
Description of the position and key functions: We are looking for a Second Engineer (2E) to work on board a container ship with 9,167 deadweight tons (DWT). The main functions include the supervision and maintenance of the propulsion equipment, ensuring the proper operation of the mechanical and electrical systems of the ship. The contract is for a duration of 4 months with the expected joining date being 28th August 2025.
Requirements and qualifications: Candidates must have citizenship of Ukraine, Lithuania, or Estonia. Previous experience in a similar position on board container ships will be valued. Accredited training in maritime engineering and demonstrable competence in managing technical teams is required.
