We are seeking a qualified Second Officer (2O) for a 700 TEU container vessel operating in international waters. This position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to gain experience on a medium-sized container vessel.

• Salary: 3,500 USD/month
• Location: 700 TEU/8,000 DWT container vessel, international navigation with calls at Ukrainian ports
• Contract: Approximately 4-month shipboard contract, with an expected joining date of 10 March 2026

Requirements

• STCW II/1 Certificate of Competency for Second Officer
• Experience in the Second Officer position
• Fluent English level (professional maritime communication)

Responsibilities

• Navigation and watchkeeping duties as Officer of the Watch (OOW) according to STCW
• Maritime safety and pollution prevention responsibilities
• Management of nautical charts and navigation equipment
• Supervision of deck operations and port manoeuvres
• Collaboration in administrative tasks of the deck department

Required Documentation

• STCW II/1 Certificate of Competency
• Seaman’s Book
• Valid medical certificates
• Valid passport
• STCW training certificates (survival, firefighting, etc.)
