Requirements

12 months of experience as a Second Officer DPO on AHTS DP2 vessels. Accepted nationalities: Azerbaijan, Brazil, Bulgaria, Colombia, Croatia, Egypt, Georgia, Honduras, India, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Myanmar, Poland, Romania, Russia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Tanzania, Turkey, Ukraine, Indonesia, Chile, Ghana, Slovenia, South Africa, Cameroon.

Responsibilities

Typically, according to the international STCW convention, the responsibilities of a Second Officer DPO on an AHTS DP2 vessel include supervising dynamic positioning operations, managing the safety and navigation of the vessel, and maintaining navigation and communication equipment.
