Position Overview

Second Officer DPO position available for a PSV DP2 (Platform Supply Vessel with Dynamic Positioning System Level 2) operating in Saudi Arabia under ARAMCO contracts. This is a 120-day contract position with Ryan Ship Management Pvt Ltd, requiring official nautical training for Deck Officer roles. Scheduled travel is arranged for 30/04/2026.

Requirements

  • Second Officer Certificate of Competency (2ND OFF COC)
  • DP Unlimited Certificate
  • 12 months experience as Second Officer DPO on DP2 AHTS/PSV vessels
  • Nationality from one of the permitted countries: Azerbaijan, Brazil, Bulgaria, Colombia, Croatia, Egypt, Georgia, Honduras, India, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Myanmar, Poland, Romania, Russia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Tanzania, Turkey, Ukraine, Indonesia, Chile, Ghana, Slovenia, South Africa, Cameroon

Responsibilities

  • Perform Second Officer deck duties on PSV DP2 vessel
  • Operate Dynamic Positioning System (DPO)
  • Navigation watchkeeping and supervision of manoeuvres
  • Maintenance of deck equipment and safety systems
  • Compliance with ARAMCO procedures and international regulations

  • Updated seaman’s book
  • Basic and advanced STCW certificates
  • Medical fitness certificate
  • Valid passport
