Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Second Officer / Dynamic Positioning Officer (2O/DPO) to join our fleet of Platform Supply Vessels (PSV) and Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessels operating under ARAMCO in Saudi Arabia. This is a 4-month contract position with Total Shipmanagement.

  • Salary: 235 USD/day + 25 USD/day bonus (average daily rate until ARAMCO approval)
  • Location: Fleet operating under ARAMCO in Saudi Arabia

Requirements

  • Full Dynamic Positioning (DP) certificate
  • Minimum 12 months experience as 2nd Officer-DPO on AHTS/PSV vessels after obtaining unlimited DP certificate
  • International nationality

Responsibilities

According to STCW, typical functions of a 2nd Officer/DPO include: assisting the Chief Officer on watch in navigation and surveillance, operating dynamic positioning (DP) systems for precise manoeuvring in offshore operations, maintaining navigation and DP records, and supervising safety and emergency tasks on deck.
