Marine Man Ltd is seeking a Second Officer for a container ship with a DWT of 23,294, on a 6-month contract. The start date is scheduled for 27th December 2025. This opportunity is open to candidates of Ukrainian and Georgian nationality.
Job Description and Key Responsibilities
The Second Officer will be responsible for assisting in navigation and general bridge handling. Key functions include supervising cargo loading and unloading, preparing navigation documents, and maintaining navigation equipment. They will also participate in safety drills and contribute to compliance with international maritime regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
Prior experience on vessels of similar capacity and type. Appropriate STCW certification for the Second Officer position. Excellent communication skills in English, as well as technical knowledge related to navigation and onboard operations.
