Job Description and Key Responsibilities: An opportunity is available for a Second Officer on board a general cargo vessel. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting daily navigation operations and overseeing loading and unloading, ensuring the safety and efficiency of operations. The vessel was built in 2008 and has a deadweight of 5484 tonnes.
Requirements and Qualifications: Previous experience in the role of Second Officer on general cargo vessels. Accredited training in nautical and merchant marine. Competencies in cargo management and navigation knowledge. Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
Additional Details: A salary of €3600 is offered for this position. The crew does not include a Third Officer, which may entail additional responsibilities for the Second Officer.
