Oilmar DMCC is inviting an established industry professional to join its global headquarters in Dubai as a Senior Bunker Trader. With a presence in over 20 countries, Oilmar DMCC is a leading player in the marine fuel supply industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage and expand the company’s bunker trading operations in a dynamic international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and negotiate bunker fuel supply contracts with suppliers and clients.
- Manage and develop a portfolio of existing and new customers.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply-demand dynamics to optimise trading decisions.
- Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of bunker fuels.
- Maintain strong relationships with refineries, traders, and shipping companies.
- Prepare and present trading reports and market analysis to senior management.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in bunker trading or related marine fuel roles.
- Proven track record in sourcing and closing bunker deals.
- Strong knowledge of global bunker markets, pricing mechanisms, and shipping routes.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, maritime studies, or a related field.
