We are seeking a qualified Service Officer (O/S) to join the crew of a petroleum products tanker. This position involves critical operational duties on board, with a focus on safety and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

  • According to STCW, typical functions of a Service Officer on tankers include: supervision of loading and unloading operations for petroleum products, maintenance of deck equipment, compliance with safety and environmental protection standards (MARPOL), and support to the Bosun in general tasks.
