Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Third Deck Officer for a container vessel position. This is a fixed-term maritime contract with a monthly salary of 3600 USD. The vessel is a container ship, and the employing company is CAPITAL SHIPPING – CONSTANTA. The required qualification is a Merchant Marine Officer Certificate or recognised equivalent. Benefits are in accordance with MLC 2006: onboard accommodation and meals, medical assistance, repatriation, and occupational accident insurance.
Requirements
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) for Third Officer
- Previous experience on container vessels (recommended)
- Updated STCW documentation
- Valid medical fitness certificate for seafarers
Responsibilities
- Assist the First and Second Officers during navigation watches
- Responsible for navigation and communication equipment
- Supervision of container loading/unloading operations
- Maintenance of safety and lifesaving equipment
- Compliance with ISPS and SMS procedures

- Medical fitness certificate for seafarers
- Seafarer’s passport
- Seaman’s book
