We are seeking a qualified Third Deck Officer for a car carrier (Ro-Ro) vessel. This position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with a mixed crew on a Marshall Islands-flagged ship.

Requirements

  • Ukrainian nationality
  • Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) for Deck Officer
  • Previous experience on car carriers or similar vessels (recommended)

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chief Officer and Second Officer during navigation watches
  • Responsible for the maintenance and updating of nautical charts and publications
  • In charge of navigation and communications equipment
  • Participate in vehicle loading and unloading operations
  • Fulfil the duties of Ship Security Officer according to the ISPS Code
  • Collaborate in emergency drills and exercises

Required Documentation

  • Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC)
  • Seaman’s Book
  • Updated STCW certificates (including basic training, safety, survival, etc.)
  • Medical fitness certificate
  • Valid passport
  • Required visas (if applicable)
