Third Officer on Car Carrier – Advanced Marine Service LLC – Salary: £3500
Advanced Marine Service LLC is currently seeking a Third Officer for a car carrier vessel built in 2025. The main responsibilities include supervising the loading and unloading operations of vehicles, maintaining navigation equipment, and assisting in safety and security tasks on board. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for collaborating with the Captain and other officers to ensure the safety and efficiency of the vessel’s operations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in similar positions within transport vessels or similar.
- Valid STCW certification and appropriate license for the Third Officer position.
- Solid knowledge in navigation and cargo operations on car carrier vessels.
- Competencies in team management and resolution of emergency situations.
Additional details: The vessel has a gross tonnage of 18,500 DWT. Candidates must be willing to work in a dynamic environment and on trips of varying durations. Contract terms will be determined based on experience and candidate’s suitability.
