Description of the position and key functions: We are looking for specialized personnel to fill various positions on board a VLCC (Very Large Crude Carrier) with a DWT of 300,000 – 320,000. These types of vessels are designed for the safe transport of large volumes of crude oil. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, operational management of the vessel, equipment maintenance, and ensuring compliance with international petroleum shipping regulations.

Requirements and qualifications:

  • MASTER: Experience in handling VLCC, leadership, and crew coordination. Salary: £16,072.
  • CHIEF OFFICER: Skills in supervising ship operations and safety. Salary: £12,654.
  • 2ND ENGINEER: Advanced knowledge in naval machinery maintenance. Salary: £12,654.
  • ETO: Ability to manage the ship’s electronic systems. Salary: £8,296.
  • 3RD OFFICER: Support in navigation and daily operations. Salary: £4,686.
  • 2ND OFFICER: Assistance in bridge operations with the possibility of a bonus for high license. Salary: £5,250 + £250.
  • 3RD ENGINEER: Support in maintenance and technical repairs. Salary: £5,250 + £250.
  • 4TH ENGINEER: Assistance in basic technical operations. Salary: £4,686.

Additional details: Contracts for MASTER, CHIEF OFFICER, 2ND ENGINEER, and ETO positions are for 3 +/- 1 months, while the positions of 3RD OFFICER, 2ND OFFICER, 3RD ENGINEER, and 4TH ENGINEER are for 4 +/- 1 months. The work will take place at sea, as part of a tanker fleet.
