Description of the position and key functions: Candidates are sought to fill vacancies for Second Engineer on RoPax/HSC vessels operating in UK and EU waters. Main functions include maintenance and operation of the ship’s propulsion and machinery systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
Requirements and qualifications: Previous experience as Second Engineer on RoRo/RoPax/HSC vessels. Second Engineer Certificate of Competency (2nd Eng COC), UK CEC desirable. STCW short courses and specific courses for RoRo. Very high level of English.
Additional details: Immediate joining (ASAP) with rotations of 2 weeks on board and 2 weeks off. The first 1-2 trips will be under a temporary/travel contract, with the possibility of long-term employment for candidates who pass the onboard assessment.
